Combining two tanks

Postby pro2see1 » Sat Jun 06, 2020 4:51 pm

I have two tanks that I would like to combine into one larger tank. I will have to add some water and sand, will this kick the tank into a cycle? I have a couple corals and fish. Any help would gladly be appreciated.

Thanks

It shouldn’t cause a cycle, at least not a dangerous one. This assumes the live rock from both tanks is well established and you will be adding it to the one larger tank.
