Here is a great site that goes over all of the bad things that can happen and has a good list of what your parameters should be.

Also most of the test kits, at least the good ones, have recommended levels along with actual sea water values in them. Also the additives/supplements also have them on the bottles/packaging most of the time so that you know how much to add.
