The tank has arrived! Planning on starting the water tomorrow, and adding the live rock monday, and live sand soon after.

Stoked to get this thing rolling - so I had to share a few pictures too

Got the rock! Thanks to @mdbannister for that :) The sand should arrive tomorrow or wednesday, then the fun starts!

The model edge is one of the older style that has the two MR11 halogen bulbs as opposed to the newer ones with the led bar... I did find a few options that could spruce it up without too much of a hassle, but not sure if they would work long-term for anything other than some shrooms. Let me know what you think... Super Bright LED's MR16

I also heard that you can push an MR16 into the MR11 slot, you just can't go back bc the MR11 will fall out, is this true or do I need to replace the MR11 heads?

Thanks!

Rocks *check
Water *check
Live Sand.... *check?

The sand arrived today and it was frozen rock solid. Is this going to be an issue with the "live" quality? I called Carib-Sea and they said that it would not affect the quality but I still have my doubts.

Any thoughts?

There wasn't anything "live" in there anyway.

That orange color is really attractive, too.

All setup! I think I will have to rearrange it a bit, and maybe take some rock out as it is stacked a bit close to the opening and I will have a hard time getting to the front to place any corals or clean.

Other than that I love it so far. The LED MR16's should be in tomorrow so no more yellow light either :)
