Barry's back 60 cube

So after selling my 300 2 years ago I h ad a innovative marine 30 fusion a little while. But sold it and went tankless a while. I've had a fusion 10 up since January. I am ready to do a little bigger system. Hence the 60 cube. So far it's just got water and rock turning over. I'll add sand this week hopefully, get appropriate powerheads for it, and add a skimmer at some point. Super simple sump area. 2 10 gallon tanks, one for the sump (no baffles. Just skimmer, return, and heater). And the other 10 is for ato. It will be zoas and lps to start. I say this because I know it will end up full of sps at some point. And for the record no I do not plan on learning how to test my water right now. LolImage

Nice!

Are you using the overflow for both the drain and return? Or are you thinking about making it a herbie and bringing the drain over the top?
Any ideas on lighting?

I'm just using the overflow as designed. It's really not too loud as I tweaked a little last night. For starters I'm just gonna throw the prime on it. And turn it up some. Will just be zoas and lps to start. Once it starts maturing and moves toward sps I'll most likely toss a ati over it. Unless I upgrade first....

Rock and sand are in! Added some frozen food a week ago to start doing whatever it takes to cycle this thing. It's been years since I cycled a tank. Now to build a screen top and just look at rock and sand. ImageImageImage

I am going to blast my AI prime for starts. To see if it'll cover 24x24. Lol. Later on I may add a second. When needed.

Or find a 6x24 (or 8x24) T5 fixture, gut the middle bulbs, and retro fit the Prime in the fixture.
